Strategic Hydrocarbon Allocation Management
Workshop Overview
A commingling of hydrocarbon from different sources into common process facility, storage or pipeline is a common practice in the oil and gas industry because of the cost-saving advantages with regards to process, storage and pipeline infrastructures. Allocation methods are the mathematical techniques used in apportioning the commingled hydrocarbon back to the various contributing sources. With various examples, this course will help the participants understand the steps followed when allocating hydrocarbons, the techniques and the accuracy of the different methods.
