Emissions Identification and Reduction Strategies
Workshop Overview
This technical course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding on the applicable codes & standards governing emissions testing and management within the industry, and best practices for achieving your emissions management goals. It includes a reviThis intensive five-day training program is designed to provide engineers, operations personnel, maintenance teams, and asset managers with a practical, operations-focused understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
management in upstream and offshore facilities. The course combines regulatory context, technical fundamentals, operational best practices, and organisational enablement to ensure emissions reductions are credible, defensible, and sustainable.
The program follows a structured progression from understanding why emissions matter, through identification and quantification, into practical reduction measures, and finally to governance, repetition, and regulator engagement. Emphasis is placed on real-world application rather than academic theory.
New of the types of equipment used in the field, and provides guidance on emissions testing, installation and maintenance of emissions reduction equipment, and tips on troubleshooting any problems that may be encountered.
The training course uses real life examples and case studies to explain the setup, preparation, implementation, and operational activities required to successfully complete detection and reducing emissions during operations from a safety perspective in avoiding a methane GHG leak, maintenance and enable cost savings.
