Strategic Production Optimization
Workshop Overview
Production optimization means determination and implementation of the optimum values of parameters in the production system leading to maximize hydrocarbon production rate or to minimize operating cost under various technical and economical constraints. Because a system can be defined differently, the production optimization can be performed at different levels such as well level, platform/facility level, and field level, but this course is focused primarily at the well-reservoir interaction level.
